Rain is a temperature event. Swap wet layers. Don't hike in a soaked hoodie because it matches the clip.
Pack it
A folded raincoat is a slot you can explain. Same as a sewing kit. See repair.
After
Dry, then move. A fire you stay at is a dinner bell. Kane can joke once the hoodie is off.
